Macon Christian Academy will begin it's 4th school year August 5th, 2013.

MCA is under the authority of Macon Missionay Baptist Church.

The members of Days Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church appointed a committee in 2008 to study the possibility of starting a private Christian school where our children can learn about the LORD, as well as excel academically. The idea of beginning a Christian school here in Lafayette has been studied before, but had been dormant for several years until 2008 when the idea resurfaced.

The school was under the authority of Days Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church for the first two years.  Macon Missionary Baptist Church, was organized June 2nd, 2012 with the extending arm being extended by the Mother Church, Days Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church. The newly organized Church had met as a mission since April 3rd, 2011. Several members of Days Cross Roads who had been attending the mission regularly, being led by the Lord, felt the need to organize. MCA is under the authority of Macon Missionary Baptist Church.
