January 6, 2025 – 1st Day Back to School
Jan. 20 – tentative MLK Day (Closed due to Snow)
Feb. 17- tentative President’s Day (MakeUp Snow Day)
Sunday, March 2nd, 2025 – Macon MBC Spring Revival Week begins – Services all week at 11am and 7pm.
March 24-28 Spring Break: School/Childcare Closed
April 18, 2025 Good Friday (School & Childcare Closed)
Saturday, May 24: PreK & Senior Class Graduations
MCA is not accredited by any organization. We are a Category IV(4) church related private school. We are affiliated and members of A.C.E. schools. We are an approved Private school by the TN Department of Education.
- Tennessee Code 1-3-118 Recognition of high school diplomas from church-related schools and home schools. (a) Notwithstanding any rule, regulation or other law to the contrary, a high school diploma awarded by a school as defined by § 49-50-801 or § 49-6-3050 in recognition of completion of secondary educational requirements shall be considered by all departments, agencies, commissions, or other such entities of state and local government as having all rights and privileges or a high school diploma awarded by a public school system.
Not being accredited we have a wider range of curriculum options & less ties between Church & state. If a student transfers to a public school, especially at the high school level, the student may be required to complete testing provided by the public school to verify credits earned.
